Description
Type: Bug
I have deleted, reinstalled, system reinstall and removed redhat but it refuses to activate making it so I can not read my Java code and run it. Even right clicking the file in VSC still will not run it.

Seems you're running a fairly old version of VS Code. I'm pretty sure the latest release of vscode-java won't work with that version. We tend to focus on supporting the latest version, or the latest few versions. As far as I know, VS Code doesn't do anything to support old versions like releasing bug fixes or security patches.
On our end, we should probably get into the habit of updating https://github.com/redhat-developer/vscode-java/blob/main/package.json#L8 when we start requiring features from a newer version, so that the extension marketplace on an older version of VS Code won't suggest installing the new version, and instead will install the oldest compatible version.
