Note: Since Essential Blocks is a Gutenberg library, you must activate Gutenberg editor to use it.

Of all the available blocks, I only use the slider. It’s a plugin that doesn’t consume many resources; you can choose to keep only the blocks you actually need enabled. As for support, I noticed some warning messages and errors in the Chrome console, reported them, and they were resolved quickly. Sometimes it’s not just about a product delivering what it promises—the technical support provided is also very important. I use the free version, and it’s sufficient for my needs. Best regards.

Easy to Use and Full of Features

I have been using Essential Blocks and so far I am happy with it. It gives me many useful blocks and makes it easier to build pages without adding too much extra work. I especially like the different design options and the fact that I can control which blocks I want to use. It is a good choice if you are using Gutenberg and want more options than the default blocks. Overall, a useful plugin and worth trying.

Helpful and diligent at resolving issues

Had an issue where I could not get the blocks to update on the save version of a post/s — turned out to be a caching issue with Bunny.net which is a CDN and it was caching the CSS. While the support team did guess it was the issue, find the exact directory was resolve by Bunny.net themselves — so the solution was a team effort. But impressed they stuck with this and worked really hard to resolve it. Can recommend for the support alone.

The support mechanism is high quality. I get to talk tech with an AI that gives accurate guidance towards possible root causes, but as I push through with explanations as to why it is a non-possibility I got a person joining in who clearly understood the software and the complexities of the problem I was experiencing which related to interaction with flowplayer and challenges of managing the dynamically generated uploads/eb-styles/ dynamic css files within a caching architecture.
