HelpGent is a conversational form builder for WordPress. Create guided, multi-step forms—called Video Funnels in HelpGent—that let visitors answer with video, voice, text, or (with Pro) screen recordings. Review submissions and reply from your WordPress inbox; visitors can submit and continue the conversation without needing your team to be online at the same time.
Use a Video Funnel to ask for details a short contact form may not capture. For example, ask a prospect about project type and timeline, or let a customer record the steps that lead to a support issue. Choose the questions, answer formats, and follow-up path for each form.
What Is a Video Funnel?
A Video Funnel is HelpGent’s name for a multi-step conversational form. It presents questions one at a time and can collect video, voice, text, and—on Pro plans—screen recordings, alongside standard form responses.
For example, a support form can ask a visitor to record their screen while describing a bug. A project inquiry can ask for project type, budget, and timeline, with an optional video response. These details give your team more to review when preparing a reply.
Async Messaging: Visitors Submit Anytime, Your Team Replies Later
Visitors can submit a video message, voice recording, text reply, or (with Pro) screen recording at any time. Your team can review the response in the WordPress inbox and reply with video, voice, or text when ready. The visitor and your team do not need to be online at the same time.
This workflow can suit solo consultants who do not want to monitor live chat all day, or support teams that work across time zones. Coaches and consultants can also review application answers before deciding whether to schedule a call.
Messages and responses are managed from your WordPress inbox. Media is stored on your WordPress server by default. Pro users can optionally connect Google Drive or Bunny Storage to transfer media to cloud storage.

HelpGent Pro adds screen recording, expanded media limits, additional form elements, and other tools for managing forms and responses.
Screen recording. Visitors can capture their screen, narrate the recording, and submit it as a form response. This can help with support requests, bug reports, and onboarding.
Unlimited video and voice recording. The free version caps video recording at two minutes. Pro removes all time limits on both video and voice recording.
Higher video resolution. Pro supports maximum quality recording beyond the free version’s default.
Higher file upload limits. Pro increases HelpGent’s file upload limit. The maximum upload size may also depend on your WordPress hosting configuration.
Pro form fields. Five additional elements are available exclusively in Pro: Multi Select (let visitors choose multiple answers from a list), Picture Select (visual option picker with images), Range Slider (numeric range input), Rating (star or icon-based rating), and Promoter Score / NPS (Net Promoter Score question for measuring loyalty and satisfaction).
Cloud storage integration. Connect Google Drive or Bunny Storage/CDN to transfer media files. Pro includes transfer queues and migration tools, plus options to manage rendering and deletion.

HelpGent includes a quiz builder in the free version. Create scored quizzes inside multi-step forms without a separate quiz plugin.
Add question screens, configure answer options, and assign point values. Visitors answer questions one at a time. You can also combine quiz questions with video responses or file uploads.
HelpGent Pro adds a quiz timer and automatic grading.

Installation
- Download the plugin zip file and upload it to
wp-content/plugins/, or install directly from Plugins Add New Search for “HelpGent”. - Activate the plugin from the Plugins page.
- Go to HelpGent Forms and create your first conversational form using the drag-and-drop builder.
- Add a form step, select an element type (video recording, voice recording, text, multiple choice, etc.), and configure the layout.
- Publish the form and add its shortcode to a page or post, or share its public form URL.
