1968 Ford Bronco 289
This 1968 Ford Bronco had a body-off refurbishment that was completed in 2000, and it is powered by a 289ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic swap. The selling dealer tells us he acquired the vehicle in 2015, and in 2024, power steering and Bilstein 5100 shocks were fitted, and the cooling system was overhauled. Work exceeding $10k in 2026 has included adding Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, installing Scott Drake headers, and overhauling wiring. Finished in green over a black interior, the truck also features a roll cage, lifted suspension, 15″ alloy wheels, front disc brakes, low-back bucket seats, a retro-style stereo, and air conditioning. This Bronco is offered by the selling dealer with 2026 service records and a clean Virginia title.

The body was refinished in green under previous ownership. The front bumper has a Warn winch and off-road lights, and the truck has a white grille, chrome headlight bezels, hood pins, dual mirrors, cut rear fenders, and a receiver hitch. The windshield wipers are not working.

The lifted suspension has quad front shocks, and Bilstein 5100 dampers were installed in 2024, along with a Borgeson power steering gearbox. The 15″ alloys were mounted with 33×12.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tires in April 2026. Front disc brakes are paired with rear drums for stopping power.

Beneath a black roll cage, the refurbished interior has pleated black vinyl upholstery, low-back bucket seats, vinyl floor covers, a padded dashboard, a retro-style stereo, a rear bench, and air conditioning.

The steering wheel was replaced in 2026, as was the wiring harness behind the dashboard and switches for the ignition, headlights, high beams, hazard lights, and wipers. The five-digit odometer shows 93k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership, although the selling dealer notes that the mileage is not accurate, and total mileage is unknown.

In 2026, the 289ci V8 was equipped with Holley Sniper 2 electronic fuel injection in addition to Scott Drake headers, and the fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, and battery terminals were replaced.

The truck has a column-shifted three-speed automatic swap, and the transmission sends power to the rear or all four wheels through a dual-range transfer case. The differentials were equipped at the factory with 4.11:1 gearsets, and Warn manually locking hubs are installed up front. Transmission lines were re-routed in April 2026, and the neutral safety switch was replaced, as well.
