1968 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special

This 1968 Ford F-250 Ranger Camper Special pickup was specially ordered by its first owner in the Los Angeles district. It is finished in two-tone yellow and white over beige vinyl and features long-arm mirrors, a rear step bumper, dual fuel tanks, power steering, 15″ steel wheels, an AM radio, and air conditioning. Power is provided by a 390ci V8 linked with a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. This bumpside F-250 was purchased by the seller in 2025, and it is now offered with a California title in the seller’s name.

The truck is finished in two-tone yellow and white and features a Styleside bed as well as a receiver hitch, long-arm mirrors, a rear step bumper, and dual fuel tanks. Areas of corrosion and other paint imperfections are shown in detail in the gallery.

The 15″ steel wheels feature covers and are mounted with 9.50-16.5 Remington Universal Highway tires, which the seller notes are in need of replacement. The truck is equipped with power steering, and braking is provided by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. The radius arm bushings were replaced in March 2026.

The cabin features a bench seat upholstered in beige vinyl, along with color-coordinating door panels. Interior appointments include an AM radio, lap belts, and air conditioning. There is a tear in the seat upholstery and cracks in the dash pad around the speaker.

The steering wheel frames a sweeping 100-mph speedometer and gauges measuring fuel level, amperage, coolant temperature, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 82k miles.

The 390ci V8 was factory rated at 255 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. The seller notes that the fuel pump, fuel lines, and engine oil were replaced in March 2026.

Power is routed through a three-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission.
