2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4×4
This 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4×4 was purchased by the seller from the original owner in 2026 and now has 78k miles. It is finished in black over Agate cloth and is powered by a 4.0-liter PowerTech inline-six linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and Selec-Trac a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes 16″ Ecco five-spoke wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, and a CD/cassette stereo. This XJ Cherokee is offered with an owner’s manual, a Carfax report, and a clean West Virginia title in the seller’s name.

The Jeep is finished in black with a body-color grille, bumpers, and wheel arch flares. Exterior details include a bug shield, a roof rack, a rear window wiper, power-adjustable side mirrors, window visors, and mudflaps. A June 2020 entry on the Carfax report notes “very minor” damage. The previous owner said that another vehicle bumped the rear bumper in a parking lot and that the front and rear bumpers were subsequently repainted.

The 16″ Ecco five-spoke wheels are mounted with 225/75 Firestone Destination LE2 tires. The Jeep is equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. A December 2021 entry on the Carfax report says that the rear leaf springs were replaced.

The front bucket seats and rear bench are trimmed in Agate cloth, and interior amenities include a CD/cassette stereo, a rear window defroster, cruise control, and power windows and locks. The seller says that the air conditioning system was recently serviced.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on an adjustable column and frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 78k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.0-liter PowerTech inline-six was factory rated at 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. A June 2021 entry on the Carfax report says that the starter was changed, and a December 2022 entry says that the radiator was replaced. A November 2023 entry says that the rear main seal and spark plugs were changed, and a March 2026 entry says that the alternator and serpentine belt were replaced. The seller tells us that the battery was recently replaced and that the oil was recently changed.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system with a dual-range transfer case. The transfer case was serviced, and the front differential fluid was changed, according to a November 2023 entry on the Carfax report. There is some corrosion on the undercarriage, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage report.
