This Porsche 356 Speedster replica was produced by Classic Motor Carriages of Miami, Florida, in 1986, and was recently acquired by the selling dealer. Power comes from an air-cooled flat-four with twin Dellorto carburetors paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, and the car is finished in red with a black soft top. Equipment includes 15″ Cal/Master wheels, front disc brakes, LED fog lights, a roll hoop, and a Compu-Fire ignition system. Inside, the bucket seats are trimmed in black cloth and are joined by a Dino steering wheel, four-point racing harnesses, a Scat shifter, and a JVC head unit. This 356 Speedster replica is now offered by the selling dealer—a BaT Local Partner—with a certificate of origin, manufacturer’s literature, build photos and documents, and a Florida title listing the vehicle as a 1970 Volkswagen.

The fiberglass body is finished in red and features a black soft top. Details include a roll hoop, LED fog lights, fender-mounted mirrors, intermittent wipers, a single-grille decklid, and teardrop taillights.

The 15″ Cal/Master wheels are wrapped in a mixture of Dunlop and Fuzion tires. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.

The fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black cloth, and four-point racing harnesses are fitted for each occupant. Details include a Scat shifter, a JVC head unit, a woodgrain dash, a fire extinguisher, and a height-adjustable rearview mirror.

The Dino steering wheel sits ahead of white-dial instrumentation consisting of a 130-km/h speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, an ammeter, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, air/fuel ratio, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 8k kilometers (~5k miles), approximately 50 of which have been added by the selling dealer.

The air-cooled flat-four is equipped with twin Dellorto carburetors and a Compu-Fire ignition system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.

The chassis stamping shown above is consistent with a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle.
