Measured spellings: plain strings as templates, and for outputs up to 1 KB terser's sequences, join_vars, evaluate, conditionals, collapse_vars and arrows tried off. Folds: a `null` and `undefined` test of a value read back, `!(a == b || c == d)`, a constant array iterated by a `for…of` declaring its own name, the truth of a string longer than its name, unread `Set`s and `Map`s of array literals, names `void` wrote, literals of different types compared strictly, writes to a block's unread `let`, a `null` test before an optional chain, and imports only exported as `export … from`. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD
An expression statement moves into a `for…in` or `for…of` head declaring its own names when it reads none of them; a write to a block's `let` nothing reads drops at the top level too. `reduce_vars`, `unused` and `side_effects` join the transforms a tiny program is tried without. oxc's wrong outputs and the getter and conversion-order differences get reasons of their own. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD
`[a].concat([b], 1).concat(x)` as `[a, b, 1].concat(x)`, `[o][0].p` as `o.p`, `var a; for (a in b)` as `for (var a in b)`, `if (a) break` in a `do … while (0)` as a guard on what follows, and a pattern's computed keys read as reads, so a constant key folds. oxc dropping a write in a `with` body and its direct `eval` get reasons of their own. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD
…on's source
`${[1, 1]}` as `1,1`, and `/a\/b/.source` as the string the engine
gives back.

the mappings check to consult compressor.option("ecma") before replacing the
import-and-export form. Only emit export * as syntax for targets that support
namespace re-exports; otherwise retain the existing namespace import and export
statements.
- Around line 30514-30516: Update the SymbolExportNode construction to preserve
mapping.imported.quote when creating the re-exported local name, ensuring quoted
imported names such as "foo-bar" remain valid string-literal module export
specifiers.
- Around line 31189-31192: Update the target checks in elementRead to walk
through pattern-property ancestors before replacing an indexed array target,
including cases such as ({ x: [a][0] } = value). Treat a member expression as a
valid destructuring assignment target and preserve the existing replacement
behavior for non-pattern expressions.
- Around line 38096-38098: Update the expression-movement eligibility check
around readsNoneDeclared to reject a preceding direct eval whenever the loop
head declares lexical names, even when the expression syntax contains no
explicit reference to those names. Preserve the existing symbol-reference
detection and only broaden the rejection for direct eval with lexical loop-head
bindings.
- Around line 30469-30470: Update the export-handling branch in the syntax
printer’s exported-node analysis to scan exported_value and exported_definition
for identifier reads when onlyExported is enabled, while excluding local export
specifiers. Preserve the existing handling for sourced exports and
exported_names, and ensure names referenced by export default remain counted as

* fix(minify): preserve observable string conversions * fix(minify): keep pattern targets and patched array iteration; split the minify CI leg - `[[1][0]] = a` keeps its target: the flattened `[1] = a` does not parse (CodeRabbit on #22839) - a `new Set` or a built-in given an array literal stays where the program patches `Array.prototype`, whose iterator may run code (CodeRabbit on #22837) - the corpora and the fuzzer run as two CI legs, the corpora bounded at 90 min: together they took 37 of the 60 min on a fast runner and passed the limit on a slower one Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD * fix(minify): address the open CodeRabbit findings on the minify PRs - an optional call folds on a value `fixedValue` gives only where the name is never written again (#22789) - a `case` label reading a `let` its own case declares keeps the switch, which throws in its dead zone (#22754) - improved cases snapshot their output instead of comparing a string (#22829), and the property-write test logs and snapshots what it writes (#22814) Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD * fix(minify): keep what a patched Array.prototype runs, and conversions not pure - a spread array literal stays, kept for its effects, and an array literal is no constant to a built-in, a `+` or a template, where the program patches `Array.prototype` - `"a" + x` read for its truthiness keeps `x`'s conversion unless `pure_conversions` - the parser job's checkout keeps no credentials, and the changeset fits 80 characters Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD * fix(minify): keep a dot access a pattern writes from folding Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD * fix(minify): keep a spread that must run inside an array literal Dropped alone, `...[1]` printed as a statement does not parse. Claude-Session: https://claude.ai/code/session_01ViD41i2KdwwGxrDk7yrjeD * fix(minify): keep calls to a built-in static the program writes `Math.max = f` or `Object.defineProperty(Math, ...)` before `Math.max(1)` no longer folds or drops the call.
